Hwangmaesan Mountain boasts the best royal azaleas fields in Korea. In May of each year, hundreds of thousands of square meters of fields in Hwangmaesan Mountain are filled with beautiful royal azaleas and display magnificent scenery. The white waves of bridal wreath trees, the scent of acacia, and in the autumn, the silvery flame grass fill the fields, bring awe to all those who visit the mountain all year around. The place provides a sense of a different illusion and Hwangmaesan Royal Azaleas Festival is held on May of each year.
